Nice. Does the pipe continue on the inside of the can? What’s the idea with that tach? Very helpful pictures.
No, earplugs are a great alternative to "noise cancellation" that may, or may not work.

The tach just lets me know where the tune is at after warmup, but it also gives me run time hours, tachs give us very important information on several fronts

What brand bar is that?
I believe that I got it from someone here, she had a worn out tip, I think it was an Oregon branded Cannon bar.

I cleaned her up, squared the rails, sanded her to bare metal, blued her about 20 times, untill she was black, each time I heated her then neutralized her, then repeated the blueing. After that she got immersed in Lucas 2 cycle oil for a week or two, put a new Cannon tip on her, then ground oil passages for the 3120.
