I tried itbout today and its dedinatly louder.
Sounds good though. But i like loud saws lol.
But still the best saw mod is a sharp chain

hello, hope this is the right place but could someone please give me some guidance as to how far i can go on a muffler mod on the 880 as it mainly gets used for milling so need to make sure i don't overdo it!

Post 2023 that @Canadian farm boy posted (4 posts up) is a great example of a single outlet 088/880 cast aluminum muffler mod

A dual port 088/880 could look like this.......


If you have the stainless muffler ............. something like this:


(This is a 661, but very similar to the 880)

hi, that's great thanks alot for your help
it's just the fact of when you mill will a saw, you have to be careful with hope far you go with the muffler mod!
don't really want to blow it up!!

I'm really liking it. Very easy to flow out.
