Have you guys seen the ridiculous prices on reloading components? Holy mother of *s-worde...small rifle primers are selling on GB for $200 per 1,000. Recently got a progressive press, shell plates for 223 are out of stock everywhere. Only place you can find them is fleabay, auctions going up over $200! Normally costs $30. Ricken fridiculous
That's what they're listing them for..not necessarily what they are actually selling for. Here, they're going for about 100 per 1k. Still stupid outrageous, but about half of GB.

I don't give my money to anybody who inflates their prices just because they can. To me, it's no different than jacking up prices on food and fuel. I can understand that wholesale prices do increase, and the retailer has to pass that on to the customer. What is inexcusable is the greed that is out there right now. A local shop has plenty of 9mm FMJ for $50.00 a box and I'm not going to darken their door, even to purchase other things.

Still no 9mm to be had around here

Around here it's "hit or miss" @ Academy Sports on Mon-Wed-Fri, opens @ 9am.
Picked up 3 boxes of Winchester NATO 124 grain FMJ 50 rds for $14.99 each plus tax!
Hollow points are becoming as rare as hen's teeth, unless you buy online.

Ammoseek.com generally has the lowest prices, although I am tempted to preorder these, will be in by Jan 30, or so they say:rolleyes::

I've never ordered from these guys, BUT...this quality of JHP's @ this price point is almost non-existent!!

Strangely, premium hollow points are alot easier to find here than basic FMJ. Could be that hoarders usually go for quantity over anything else.

There is plenty of ammo around here now. You just gotta know the days they stock the shelves. It might not be exactly what you were looking for but there is some available

With all the mass stupidity going on right now, I am not looking forward to my next shift at the gun counter.
I stopped in my LGS earlier today. The rifle inventory was about 40% of normal and only a few AR's. Handguns were about 20%, mostly revolvers.
Ammo had been cleaned out.
There wasn't a customer in the store for the 1/2 hour I was there.

Strangely, revolvers are in very short supply here. Full size and compact autos are pretty easy to find, small .380's have vanished. The more expensive AR's are fairly common, lowers and cheaper rifles have been out for quite awhile. Ammo is of course unobtanium. NICS worked just fine when I bailed out the Ruger carbine this morning but I bet it is going to crash hard on Saturday.
