Oh my God Randy... Thoughts and prayers from Massachusetts. If there is something we can do (this is a time I wish I was local and not so far away) just say so.
The xenograft went well, and the worst burns are covered. He is very positive and willing to do whatever it takes to heal. Yesterday morning he was out of bed, and ready to walk. Phil is not an typical patient. He will not just lay down and give up.
Thank you all so much for the prayers and support.
We will be having a healing ceremony tomorrow morning. At 10:00 am central, we will be entering the lodge, we welcome any good thoughts and prayers for the positive outcome of that ceremony.
Thoughts & Prayers from Brewster NY to you, your brother & family. Very, very sorry to hear this news. Your brother sounds a lot like mine (Matt, MechanicMatt's Dad). My Dad used to have a 25' Bayliner, and my brother always did the mechanical work, often in confined spaces, and sometimes on rough water.
I'm glad to hear he is a fighter, and that things are going well. May it continue to be that way.
