My cross 660 is 103, 125, 84 and it is not peaky at all, maybe a little with an 8t, but it's all slow torque.
That’s what this 660 feels like. A tad lazy. Needs a bit more rpm. The 064 holds more rpm in the cut and out of the wood. You can hear it in the video. The 064 might not have the “peak” torque number the 660 has real low in rpm range, but it seems like it has more torque than the 660 in the mid-upper rpm range. Probably a much better cylinder with the 064 (angles/port shape/timing as well).

Are these oem saws were comparing or are the the kit saws?

This one is a “kit” saw with some oem upgrades to make it reliable I guess you could say. Still a AM saw and that’s a variable too. Oem 660/066 ported would probably run better than AM saw ported if I had to guess?

Ok mine is a OEM short case with poly flywheel. I used the Farmertec tank and plastics, Cross cylinder with OEM piston.

In theory that should run better than this one. I almost wonder if the AM ignition coil timing/flywheel is poor causing a loss of power even with some advance. But if I were to keep replacing every part with oem... might as well buy a good used oem saw to start with lol. But these are fun to experiment with and learn stuff.

No fingers, but Bridge Ports in both, and one has my exclusive "Tunnel Port" technology (I made it up myself)! You have not seen that one run yet. The other one was at the GTG and did very well in the hardwoods. I believe I have fingers in another saw.

The .325 square conversion safety bumper chain was the fastest. But I had to really lean on the bar. My guess is the short chain links and 9 pin were causing the chain to sit on top and not dig in. Once I figured that out, it cut well.
Thoughts?

Nope. Ran perfect on my 261cm with an 8 pin rim.
Didn't have to lean on it at all. Self fed pretty good
