That’ll buff right out...
It did, along with the others lol. I have a pile of chains here at the house I need to get working on, they keep piling up lately.
Thanks for the insight guys. That's why I love this joint. I am always learning here!
There's more knowledge than I can take in here, I just might use a bit of it some day:icon_popcorn:.

Jeff, I think if you are cutting decent size hard wood, only use an 8 pin on 90cc or larger, but even on them I run 7 pin. I don't think my Asian 660 suffered from having a 7 pin at all!

8 tooth kinda tames down the violent saws, if'n ya ever run one of them
Try it on your 460...
With a smooth chain

I have one on my 460 right now. And I had it on when at NY GTG. Mustang Mike beat me with his running a 7 pin in a 16" white oak cant.

A good friend always told me...."it's the Indian, not the arrow".

He also said this..."1) Good saw, 2) good chain, 3) don't suck"

LMAO. Well. Mike beat several saws there. We all had 8 pins with a 20" Stihl bar and box square chain. Lol
I had my work tune in the 460 still. I should have turned up the wick a bit, but I didn't. Lol
He beat me fair and square.

One was his MOFO 460. One was a Hybrid.
We had a 460 Runoff. There were quite a few there.

Be sure to look about 3/4 of the way down that list. Make note. LOL. [emoji16][emoji2957]

That supports what has been said, smaller cant and softer wood the 8 pin would have probably been better.
Lots to be said for the right combination, and as Kevin said don't suck lol.
