I threw on a beat up 84dl bar on the 395 with a 8 pin and semi chisel. Cut down a dead ash and did some testing since I modified the carb just recently. 12.7k no load and 11.3k under load. A touch fat, but it’s a working tune.

30*. The file handle has 25 and 30* markings on it. Rakers a little angry but not so much it can’t bore smoothly.

I like my work chains to where I have to hold up on the saw just a touch making felling cuts, but still bore smoothly.

OK. Kinda what I thought, but the pics are very deceiving. My phone does the same thing. Nice and clear but depth of field seems off.

I tried to get a good picture of the hook in it but it didn’t come out great. I think if I took it right after I filed it it would look crisper maybe. It was stained a little by the ash. I wish the phone would zoom in clearer. iPhone 8.
