You feel this was an inertia based flaw?
Are you calling me fat?

These aren't actual oem tillotson carbs anymore. They are clones manufactured and modified by Kermit Buller to run right. I know folks who've ran them and they say they're set up like a carb should have been from the beginning.I'm not a fan of the 360 or 380. We had the best of luck with the 334 on our karts, all others had no throttle response and low end power, just terrible out of the corner.
There's a place in Tennessee that builds hl's. Not sure of their name
That's itWe always got our kart carbs from eccarburetors.
Holy *s-wordthe ones I am working with are something different entirely
A Tillotson HL360 is the carb that was already on this particular saw monster before I started messing with it.

It is a tight squeeze, the throttle butterfly had to be modified because an 088 boot is too small for the butterfly, LOL
Well I have seen you eat...Are you calling me fat?

But no, I was referring to a fueling issue.
Possible impulse? It seemed to be Venturi size. The others just had poor signal down low. 334 has a 3/4” Venturi and is much more crisp.
Thanks Jeff I was pleased especially with the .043 chain! Not much choices with that guage! Going to try it with a .050 PS chain.Nice gains with the 193t.
Wow that was a good gain. Was a turd before (sorry Jeff lol).Got this 193t a couple weeks ago. Did a muffler mod and advanced the timing. It still has some breaking in to do.
Possible impulse?
Thinking about using these jet ski carbs here for big saws. 7/8 or so venturi and a huge pump. They will need some work to fatten it up more with a fueler mix. The 070 type carb looks to be more trouble than it is worthIt wouldn't be the pump impulse, we run inline external pumps off crankcase pressure.
How in the heck would a jet ski carb be easier to mount than an HL?, you ar making my brain melt bro.Thinking about using these jet ski carbs here for big saws. 7/8 or so venturi and a huge pump.
