Ethyl alcohol is straight up shine bro. The way to get it from about 195 to a full 200 proof is a step above normal distillation.
Not to say it can't still be used as rubbing alcohol though.

I was curious so indid a little reading, apparently ethyl alcohol (grain alcohol) and isopropyl alcohol (sourced from coal) are both commonly called rubbing alcohol. Ethyl alc is subject to excise tax similar to any alcohol for human consumption, isopropyl is subject only to sales tax. I still wouldnt drink it tho lol.
