Mike the I was doing to ask if the timing had been advanced, it does sound like it's popping. Looks nice strong non the less.

Al, what one do you prefer between the two saws, 036 or 361 once ported? The 036 sounds stronger in the cut. Both look good. I have both with base gasket deletes and prefer the 361 but I like the way that 036 sounds! In small wood it may be a different story too

Don’t know the answer.

I do have a new 361 recipe that would punish the one above.

The 036 still has more low end grunt though.

It looked like the 036 has more grunt. My 361 has a noticeable advantage over the 036 but I run a 20” bars on them. I would like to see a video of the new recipe 361..

The other 361 advantage is that it will accept a 460/460HO oiler as a bolt on. So you could theoretically get by with one saw for nearly all of your cutting.
