Is there any way to turn up the wick on those McCulloch's? Or is it the bore and stroke that mandate that low RPM grunt?

I did a base gasket delete and widened the intake and exhaust squish is .020 and a large single port on the muffler with baffling removed and max-flow, so not really ported but not stock either. LolIs that 661 ported ?

You can tune the high jet in the cut if you're curious about what the peak power is.I don’t think so...but @Chainsaw Jim may know more.

Thanks, it’s been a surprisingly a good saw, it was mega disappointed stock, stalled easily.I would be very pleased to leave that 661 just how it is. That saw seems to run very strong with excellent manners. Nice job on the mods thst seem to work very well together.
