Modded AFX motors lasted longer than Tyco imo.

This happened before smart phones. But it was a box in the repair shop here and one side was 3 phase and the other was single. Dude hooked a high leg up to the single phase side and the angle grinder was sparking pretty good.

Then there was the time a concrete saw got hooked up to 460. Sounded like a jet spooling up lol. Really not sure how this place hasn't burned down yet.

My dad somehow got his outlets and cords mixed up. He had a phase converter for his bridgeport another 220 for the air compressor. His goofy ass used the same plugs on both and got them mixed up. Let me tell you that air compressor really started right up and started smoking almost instantly.

I’ve had the question of can a ported 70cc saw beat a strong stock 90cc for a while and well... I decided to find out. 372 was faster by .3 of a sec on average. Which isn’t much... but the wood increased in size as you can see in video and the tune was a bit fat on the 372. The 661 is a great saw for this test as it runs very strong stock. Both had the same chain on them, but different bars because of the different mounts and I didn’t have the adaptor with me.

I did a video comparing the two, they feels so different, but were surprisingly close. The 660 was odd, it had .019 squish stock, so I left it alone, just a muffler mod and hd2 filter, the 661 I did a base gasket delete .020 squish, port widening, large single outlet muffler, and max flow.
