What's a good mod to the OE airbox? I have a max flow on now but that cover is flimsy and could be shaped better.

On @dall 046, I drilled 3 - 3/4" holes in the top of the cover and put a large Frogzskin over them. Looks cool and certainly breaths well. It maintained strength because of the multiple small holes and not one large one.

I'll see if I can find a pic.

It's a tough airbox to vent. You really can't vent through the sides like on other models. The entire cover breathes through a 1" x 1/2" hole it seems in stock configuration.

That's pretty neat. I reckon a wing or ram air scoop needs to be next on the list .

Those things are pretty tough. I have a few more but I don't have air filter covers to put them on

i think the only way you could ruin them is to puncture them they seal good and al has put them on my 036 and 046 and very little dust is collected on the filters

That's the best part of them.

They redirect flow and the filters don't get as dirty for some reason.

I ported a 064 for @CR500 that has a tilly on it,awesome tuning and behaving saw.
Quite rare also

I added some vents on a extra 460 cover I have. Opened up the 2 existing holes then added one above the throttle

should have laid out some lines to drill straight

the black carb cover has 4 holes already on the side
