In hard wood I don't think anything less than 90cc should run 404 and not because they can't,404 is hard on the pto side and the smaller bearing and clutch can't take it falling hardwoods.What's the consensus on how many CCs minimum a saw should have to run 404 chain? 70?

Properly ported 60cc saws, or any other cc saw, should all be close.
