I'm more of a work vs. race guy. I liked it at 14700. I'm sure it may be faster a bit higher, but it's safe and not slobbering in the wood at this rpm.How high would you want to turn it

I really can't get it any lower than 14500 no matter how much I open the H needle. It's gonna need the jet drilled to go any lower. Never really had a saw do this to me so far. It's at max fuel flow for the carb.
Mike is a fantastic builder. This is a Mike Lee 390 wearing a 32 square skip with a 7 pin I put an 8 on it after the video and it was much faster. Been very impressed with this saw Mike builds a really mean saw.
394 sounds mean!!
The stihl actually feels the fastest but the husky's are smother so that's a lot of it.Nice love tap you gave Yeti at the end of the video. Kinda like a good game for keeping up with team orange
Trying to get some ported saws dialed in for Randy's G2G. First up is my fav. Ported 660. I really like this baby at 98/122-124/82. Tried a couple other things and I feel it runs stronger at those numbers. Squish is .030 and compression is 175. Really opened up the dual port muffler as well. My opinion is they stand to gain quite a bit from it.
