Here's some noodling
WOW, those 2 are hauling the mail!!!Here's a couple vids of my new (first tank of fuel) MMWS 395XP and a well broken in Tree Monkey 661CM. Both have 36" bars with Oregon EXJ (round file, full chisel, full-skip) with rakers at .035.
Its really indicative of how compression affects the whole rpm range of a small engine.@Maintenance Chief - Runs great! I like how well it comes off idle.
I'm curious what changes you made? Gasket delete? Different P&C port work ?Made some changes to the clone 288.
It's in the video description, but an 54mm 066 piston and a thicker cylinder gasket to accommodate the taller piston.I'm curious what changes you made? Gasket delete? Different P&C port work ?

I have read that also, being a single ring and if the squish is too tight it might be good.Funny. Usually people swap 288 pistons to 066’s to make more powa!
I played with some Chinese saws today
Glad it arrived safely. BTW that has a ported MMWS cross cylinder on it.
Your saw was still the fastest. I'm keeping it and letting my buddy have the blue one with the Cross cylinder.
Ive got a 32 sugihara and a 32 tsumara both running Oregon LPX chain. What are you using for your bar and chain set up.
