Here is my video with the larger 224a carb installed on the 61 build. This wood is quite a bit larger. I also touched up the chain before running the saws. I'm happy with the results! Getting closer to my goal for the 61 build.

Stock 036 and a ported 036, I was going to leave this one stock but after seeing how much slower it is compared to my ported one I can't leave it stock. I give the stock one some credit because that's some very hard dry oak. Same bar and chain.

Stock one

Ported one

Really looking forward to my 36 with a 34s jug,,these videos are nice comparisons between stock and ported 36 what a difference! Nice work Ronnie.
I bet with just a muffler mod and a base gasket delete, if there's enough clearance, it would pick up quite a bit.

I've been real happy with the 880 and 660 he worked his magic on! Wednesday I ran a full gallon through the 880 on a huge cottonwood and it really was amazing, I haddnt run it in a while.. I had the 41" bar buried constantly pulling full comp .404 that I squared. The other guys onsite were running a 661 and it didnt even compare. Before the big cuts I ran a half gallon through my 461 that Randy worked over ..on limbs, by the end of the job after flushing the stump with the 880 I had Ape arms and could barely load up..but it beat going back for a second day.

"Cut Out" Kevin strikes again ;) Do you do any carb work on your 395s?
So dang many different models. One cuts straight, grab the next one and cut to the left or right.

I thin the butterfly shafts a little. On the higher rpm builds I open and shine up the venturi some. This one only has the shafts thinned.
