Breaker of recoils
Nothin special, hauling 16” 3/8 bar and square chain.
Im kinda diggin these new vids Joe. I really want trigger time on those echo hybrids... they look like fun!
Pretty much all of these builds are on here, let me know how you like my attempt at a video "build thread"

@Red97 one suggestion, slow down the popup pics and text…I’m fast but not that fast.
Snowing here currently!Feeling a bit better so I went and cut up 3 euc logs with my 2166 and 395…almost 90 when finished. I didn’t take any vids or at least not cool cutting vids. It’s supposed to cool off at holloween dagnabbit!
Might be able to try a shorter set of dogs on the 395 and get rid of some of that bogThis morning the 395 was surging after hard cuts. Kevin correctly diagnosed it as old or too low octane fuel. Goes bad real quick here in the heat beside being CA gas in the first place… VP makes your blues go away. The choke lever also broke off, clutch was sticking on the 2166, and it wouldn’t hold a tune…Funny how one time you go out and everything sucks and later it kinda all goes right like this evening.
395 is an animal….gotta get the chain juuuust right for euc. Gotta the perfect grab in the sharpening process and feed pressure. You either get no bite or too much. Now I know why the aussies always look like tweakers jerkin the saw around . Sharpening every 2-3 cuts.
I think it’s easier to Stand Up and Buck with the 3120, 42” heavy bar and .404” and just let it eat vs. working the saw.
That’s what I was thinking, but you need all the leverage you can get when you’re cutting with the whole bar. I probably just need to get better at handling it. Would have been a lot easier if I’d gotten the forklift and rolled it and held it up.Might be able to try a shorter set of dogs on the 395 and get rid of some of that bog
Makes a difference getting used to one saw I’m sure, versus dabbling a little bit with severalThat’s what I was thinking, but you need all the leverage you can get when you’re cutting with the whole bar.
