I thought this was interesting. 572 a bit more rpm in cut and 7910 a bit more torque. Both great saws.

i met that helicopter pilot
I ported both of them, here is the same 7910 and a 372xpw that was ported by Mike Lee. Both good saws.Who ported them?
Normally the 7910 must be stronger with the same port job. 10cc more
hell yeah!!!Owner sent this one to Cole for a chain. This is Cole operating saw.
I put new gaskets in it, thinned the shafts, adjusted the popoff and drilled the main nozzle bypass to get the H adjustment into a more acceptable tuning range. I also took about 2/5 off the flywheel key. What do u change on the carb?
Together they were worth about 3-5% on this saw. Of course this depends saw to saw, certain models like it more than others.Too bad the timing and carb adjustments are not shown separately, they can each make a big difference.
Both are 50mm bore. The 044 is a touch more high strung. But both are fairly close in performance with a 32” bar.
Nah, only testing sir. Lol
Just curious what they do in the wood and check tune after cuts. I think I do better without the tach sometimes lol, it can be a distraction. Are you setting all these saws at a certain rpm or just curious what they hold in the wood??
