Here For The Long Haul!
Three walbo carbs later, all need a kit that I don't have, and ended up with an aftermarket carb that worked. Probable do better with an OEM carb but you got to use what you got.
I’ve tossed more 372/1128 stihl walbro HD’s into the parts bin than any other carb this year. The low speed circuitry gets fugged up somehow. Tried a kit... almost everything. Grab another carb and the saw runs beautifully.... weird. Would be interesting to know the fix cause they are good carbs when they run good.Three walbo carbs later, all need a kit that I don't have, and ended up with an aftermarket carb that worked. Two those carbs had something wrong on the low side, one I could turn it all the way in with no change.I’ve tossed more 372/1128 stihl walbro HD’s into the parts bin than any other carb this year. I’ve noticed a few from MS 460s that did that. I figured on removing the Welch plugs and cleaning out the transition holes to see if that did it. But the zama doesn’t seem to have that problemI’ve tossed more 372/1128 stihl walbro HD’s into the parts bin than any other carb this year. The low speed circuitry gets fugged up somehow. It was built by a Husky dealer/welder/machinist and never finished, was inherited by his nephew and now more than a decade later hew would like to see it finished. No easy task.
