Yep. A lot of it’s why I don’t want to build saws any more.

Well, I'm impressed with the 660 you did for Jeff … and the advice you gave to me also allowed me to modify one of my Asian 660s to be fairly impressive, so THANKS!!!! I do appreciate it! It is not what I would have done on my own.

Not yet. I’ve heard May, June, July. So probably sometime this fall

The hybred definitely had the 460 kicked by a noticeable margin in pine. Just more rpms and chainspeed. The chain needed more hook or more off rakers on the 460. I was pushing hard on it. The same chain on the hybred was about perfect. In the hardwood video I posted earlier, the tables seemed to be turned and the 460 torque shined in oak.

Early D

All D’s are not created equal, nor should they be ported as they are.

How do you tell the early Ds from the others?

I know I like the 044 KS jugs, but I think all the 046 D jugs I have seen are Mahle.

Can I ask if part of the secret to your great performance is in the transfers?
