O do have an 044 chassis
I can just slightly feel themThat jug looks like it'll clean up fine. If any of those wear marks below the exhaust port can catch a fingernail, then just hand sand them real good so
they don't start any "fissuring" in the plating when you put it back into service.
What’s up with the plating under the intake port? Is it chipped? Kinda hard to tell.View attachment 227752 View attachment 227753 View attachment 227754 Since we are on this subject, what do you guys think of this cylinder? It is a 460.
Yeah, it’s a 460. The piston is a little scratched up on the intake. I was just planning on buying a new P&C anyways. What’s up with the plating under the intake port? Is it chipped? Kinda hard to tell.
Is it a mahle or Stihl branded jug?
If it’s a stihl branded jug it will likely be from a 460

I’d have little issue with that jug if you could diamond ball the defects under the intake floor and hand sand so they don’t scratch the skirt. Test with a cheap or used piston. That’s bad air filtration.View attachment 227752 View attachment 227753 View attachment 227754 Since we are on this subject, what do you guys think of this cylinder? It is a 460.
