Was bored after I finished cutting some firewood and compared some saws lol. 25” bar. 8 pin on ported 441/hybrid. 7 pin on stock with just mm 372/441. Wood was oak. Same chain on all.
10.90/10.50 seconds
11.66/11.58
13.53/13.27
15.02/14.91 Results are what they are. I ran each one in there powerband. I hate working on them... but 441’s are stout and good durable worksaws. I will say the hybrid is a lower compression build than the typical hybrid for the owner to start easier. Be interesting to see what a higher compression hybrid would do. Who knows?

Ahh, that’s Jack’s hybrid.

It’s very tame and has only 150# of compression.

036 I just finished. I really shouldn’t be cutting right now, but the saw needed to be tested before it went out. Being extra careful.

Rings seated after 2nd cut. Gained 1000 rpm in the wood and started to get fat at the same carb setting.

That one turned out nice!

Nothing new Jeff, I've had that saw for some time and it is a VG runner.

Just sometimes, between the 462 and 261, my 60 cc saws don't get out enough!
