I too would enjoy learning how to be a logger. We need a logging GTG, so we can fell, limb, and buck trees instead of cutting and burning cookies.

Mofo hybrid. This saw is pretty nice with a 20” 8 pin on it in maple. Good setup for this saw. Where I had it tuned by feel where it made the most power and sounded good in those cuts. Checked with tach after.

Al did a great job on this build. Good manners. Starts easy, tunes easy and good power. The max flow filter is nice. Oh and it doesn’t pop like a old john deere tractor. Lol

XS462 in Green Ash. Chain is fresh out of the box Stihl, 32", full comp of square cutters. Im leaning on it pretty good. And yes...I did do some trenching at the end

Same saw but with 28” fullcomp. Left the 8 pin on.

I was looking at some deer that caught my attention mid cut. There was a few of them near me. Surprised the saw didn’t scare them off. Must be used to people lol.
