I deleted a few posts here as requested.

Listen guys....sometimes things go sideways. At the end of the day, they're just chainsaw though. No matter what happens, work it out.

Life is too short, and good friends are too rare to let a damn silly chainsaw mess things up.

Dr Al builds a mean little 026, don't he Jeff??? I told ya!!!

You missed this one, Randy.

Now Mike is being racist and size-biased toward 50cc Stihls. Called it mean. Mike is being mean. Show him the door boss.

Wow Just Wow.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention Keith.

All size bias and brand racism will from this day forward be a ban-able offence.

Or......we could just make Mike run a Husky 235 all day as a deterrent.....

Doc I really hope the NWP cylinders that you got were better than the ones I bought. The Squish was so huge with a stock gasket that the compression was so low that it wouldn't hardly run.

I'm more interested in the exhaust port.

With that thick ass base, I can fix the rest.

Still wondering about numbers from the NWP's. I've built quite a few 026's and MS260's. The kits I've looked at and tried have been lack luster in my opinion (but I do not have a lathe). Waiting on the good doctor to share.

I played with the Meteor jugs some......never could get them to run quite as well as the OEM jugs without finger ports. There had to be something going on in the transfer ports that I was missing. Now the Mako 1122 jugs would come alive really well......but I didn't really trust the pistons.

I'm glad to see someone messing with the aftermarket top ends here again.

Just an update. A little extra protection for the 026.
