That square looking button is same plastic part as the throttle safety. Dont seem to do anything with oiling that I can see. Now i know I shouldnt.probly.vut i put a little air up the oiler hole and did get some come out. I also did notice that squeezing tje throttle repetedly made the oil move a bit where it comes out just not coming out. So how does this sytem work, do you have to keep blipping the throttle to get oil then?

You can see the plastic rod to the right of the carb pushing in and out.
It pushes on the sliver piston on the oil pump / tank cover pictured below.

It draws oil in through this one way check valve on the bottom and pushes it out, through that little hole above that, to the bar pad via a passage in the case. IMG_20210612_210149732.jpg

Mine has the double rod set up similar to yours that runs off the throttle. I will pull it apart again in the morning and get some pics and see what I can find.

I wonder if its like the one I have that had both. Pressurized and throttle activated?

Ok so i see how it works now. I also love working on mini macs now lol. So the throttle released pinchs the hose to stop flow.
Another hose comes up from case (case presure) into tank with a duck bill check valve. It is stuck shut or gummed up. I need to get it out and clean it and hopfully good after that if i can remeber how to get togeather lol.
At one point of teardown i said WTF i should just toss this stupid thing. But i aint gonna give up now lol.

Its a clammy. Didn't realize that. The older versions are cylinder on magnesium cases like all the big saws were way back. Mine have no lines for oiling either. I'm don't give up type a feller too. Lol.

Put a new duck bill check valve in it. Old one was kinda gummy and just stuck togeather. But its back togeather again and running. Oh and it oils too lol. Cool little saw. I meed go go back i to it one more time. The plastin fuel onlet fitting is cracked and leaking. Not sure how hard they are to find.
