I m interested in the p/n of the k&n filter if you find it
Will do the one on madsens site isn't what I'm looking for needing to do more research and find it againI m interested in the p/n of the k&n filter if you find it
Agree’d. Mine came w/ the low cover and I greased around the intake elbow, ran it and found it didn’t seal for chit. I like the clamp style filter.OEM high top filters flow plenty and filter very well. I would use anything else.
Its interesting, that same filter is used on several models, all the way down to the 262. Seems to flow well and filter well for that application, but does seem like it must be a stretch for a 90cc saw.Agree’d. Bout time. Jeez
It's a good thing that's not a muffler cover. Somebody might steal it

I watch as the top distorts and gets sucked down as the throttle opens. A better flowing air filter could probably help a little.does seem like it must be a stretch for a 90cc saw.
For me it was a no-brainer since I planned to mill, which produces lots of fine dust. The hd elbow was a beech to find. Its interesting, that same filter is used on several models, all the way down to the 262. They are impossible to find those filter necks. I ended up modifying a 395 one to work. Drilled the screw holes out bigger and clearanced the plastic around bolt heads so they'd seat. Seems to work well. Then I ended up finding a 394 elbow after I did all that work lol. If it fails I'll swap on the 394 elbow. For me it was a no-brainer since I planned to mill, which produces lots of fine dust. The hd elbow was a beech to find.
