Yep...we were blessed. Yet, this time was too close for comfort brother!!
When we went to the Municipal Hall for shelter they were closed. The Police department is attached and they swiftly ushered us into the bowels of a tiny jail cell along with other families.

About 3 minutes in, a female officer screamed out like a cougar, "OMG its HOOVERING right over US...WE'REALL GONERS@!!!"

Now we have several designated shelters earmarked for next time.

Cleaned up a big ole Bur Oak for my friend that has cancer. My wife, kids and myself split and stacked what he wanted and we got the rest! I quartered most of it just to make it manageable.

This Tree been worrying me for 3months now, it blew over and is only 1mile from the house. I have permissioin to get it but it fell in dang swampy low area, URGH. Plus its really big. It would be alot of firewood.

Sometimes that swampy wood is extremely wet inside. Almost to the point of rotted. There has to be some better wood for you to cut up.

Yea its still living through that root ball. Leaves are green. Kinda a waste.
