Neighbour just bought in a load

Did a little on the water favor for my tree guy. I may have stepped on some toes, but he did me a big favor in return.



Some kind of maple I'm guessing. Doesn't matter to me much. It will make good shoulder wood.

Norway maple, I believe. The bark looks similar to white Ash. Pretty good would actually. Almost as hard as sugar maple

Nice favor you received. Don't see any rot so it will make fantastic firewood.

FB score. One guy was ahead of me but kept sending the lady a bunch of question. “What kind of oak.” “How long is it?” “What’s the diameter?” I just told her I would take them, she told me they were mine! Nice oak noodled up and ready to go and a huge double trunk cherry that needs noodled.

That 7900 gets really thirsty noodling. That big cherry I’ll have to buck it with the 9010 then noodle with the 7900. 28” bar and 8 pin rim, that thing is a beast, probably my favorite saw to run.

Are both of those MillerModsaws?

The 9010 is. The 7900 is basically stock but very strong. I also have a Miller 7310.

Not many talk about this but I have been cutting what we call Tamarack (larch) lately. It makes good firewood, I had a friend drop off 6-7 cord or so.

Nice load buddy.
I've never seen hackberry look like that, do you know what type it is.
Have a 9-10" one I need to remove at our place(probably this week/end), and a couple 2-3".
This is what ours looks like, pretty neat looking, very unique.

Got a load of fir for my neighbor.
Was a dead standing fir.
Lightly massaged 353 did the chore,, man thats a nice lil saw.

I've always said those saws were way under rated, much like the 359, they pull well at lower RPM.
Do you run a 20" on it.
