New to the forum but seems fitting to throw in my recent haul at the house. There’s a second pile as big as the first that brother in law took with him. Still got 3-5 more to take down. Now need the wife to let me off babysitting duty so I can buck it and split it before the beach trip.

The one in the driveway was on a road embankment couple blocks away,, limbed and dragged it home in two chunks.
Other is about a mile up a loggin road, root was up the bank so I toed it down and cut it up.
Both fir. All split n stacked now. Used a recently redone 046

Worked about 3.5 hours this morning, way too hot and humid today, to cut and load 5 locust trees the property owner took down. Will have a few more coming up, all smaller trees. Did not cut the top two pieces as they were buried in the dirt.

Very nice. Looks like red oak. Should keep you warm.
You never really think you need a 32" bar until you NEED it. Lol
Sure beats making 2 passes with a smaller bar.
