wow... those tools are way too fancy for me.... lol.

I wanna try this again, with just a carbide in my dremel.... i might have a 660 muff hanging around. ...hmm

Biggest tool you can get is a good 60 gallon compressor... I have a Husky (Home Depot) 60 gallon, 10.3 or so CFM at 90 psi. Runs just about everything, including die grinders and small sanders and of course, the great air chisel/hammer.

One I have was 439 bucks about 7 years ago. The air moisture separator and regulator was about 100 bucks. Hoses were about 65 bucks. Fittings, maybe 45 bucks.

All said and done, you will find having an IR 2135 impact helpful too... change tires on your car and stuff. I use it to remove clutches from saws, turn the dial down or use very little trigger and it pops it loose when you hold the flywheel. Much better than beating on it, IMO.

Use Valvoline synthetic 10W30 in it, change oil once a year.

I have an dental compressor...came out of an office, was built in the 50's. Its rated for continuous duty, and still purrs like a kitten...albeit it has a piston the size of an 049 engine. Takes a while to come up to pressure, but I can run my nail guns without too much trouble.

I rarely need the air impact (my electric dewalt cordless works brilliantly), and I have an air hammer too. I have die grinders etc, but just don't need them most of the time. As soon as the go -pro is ready I'll see what I can do about getting this baffle out...fast and cheap. :)

no calf....

u got that dimension on the 440 pto bearing?

also, if you got a crank, I need to know the length of the "landing" ....where the bearing sits. if the bearing is 9mm thick, is the landing...longer? on the am crank, its around 9.4mm .... which means a 10mm thick bearing inner race would stick up, vs a 9mm which would sit low...

I removed the baffle in a chinese 026 muffler in 2 minutes by twisting it. I noticed the metal is thinner in the cheap mufflers and that baffle provides structural rigidity. I may have to weld a couple of gussets in the corners to stiffen back up.
Sorry, no vids. I did it 2 months ago. Lol
If I did do a video, I would have had to have 1 of my MOFOs in it. Lol. [emoji106]

sorry, minor editing... sucky vid on my cell phone hanging from the ceiling. I hope Sean doesn't feel too bad about this.... but it was really easy to do with just a round carbide and a big flat blade.
