Yeah the last ones she had were Bell tones and were almost 6000 and they sucked. Come to find out they have gone down hill on quality. My BIL works for Frito Lay and the paid for his. He's worked there for like 10 or so years and test him on site and it showed hearing loss from work so they be paying for it. Almost want to work there just for that lol

I'm not sure what brand the wife got last time but I sure as hell can tell the difference if she isn't wearing them. My insurance covered a very small amount nothing worth speaking of. I don't think people know just how much of a disability not being able to hear well is. Story goes my wife had a fever so high it ruined her hearing as a child. Her parents didn't then or now take very good care of themselves or kids so she didn't find out till later in life. I can tell the way she pronounces certain words what she never learned how to say correctly because of it. She's also had problems over the years keeping a job over not being able to hear correctly. Long winded I know but moral of the story get your children's ears checked it will save a lot of suffering later in life.
