Have not seen one.@ray benson is there a repair manual available for this saw?
Like a regular saw . Not any harder than normal. Are you pulling it like a normal saw?? Or are you slowly pulling the rope and then letting the spring unload on the engine?
Cord is same length as the one that came off I did notice the screw holding the starting mechanism keeps tightening up when spring distorts!!Your new rope is it the same length? You might be over tensioning the spring pulling on the starter to far?
i can attest that the “pullin pro” series of saws usually have very very robust starting mechanisms![]()
Will try that!!!These easy start engines I've seen require a different starting procedure. You must pull slowly then let the Spring release its energy on the engine when its ready. Pulling it like a regular engine will cause this every time.
Tried pulling cord easy bent the 10"th spring Yea 10 springs ruined, trying everything? Just dont know where to go from here.Used a saw with start assist this year to make sure i fixed it...
It's broke again, probably because i used it like a real saw.
It is getting a real recoil.30 something cc saw with start assist ...phss
Unfotunately it looks like that is the only way it will work Trying to remove assist spring and put in a solid pin. I used a small rod I had but it bent. I will have to look for some case hardened steel to use instead. Open for any suggestions.!!!Is there a regular recoil?
Do you need the easy start
Thanks I will do thatFind the poulan forum, someone may know more.
