The bearings arrived late Friday. I got them installed today. The crankcase is sealed with anaerobic sealer. Got the flywheel indexed to crankshaft and timing set. I buggered the 2100 cylinder a few weeks back when trying to cut squish. I have another cylinder en route. When it arrives, I'll cut base and squish to fit it. I need to find a 084 carb to replace the one I'm borrowing from Adam. I need to chase down some other odds and ends. It won't be long now.

I've already spent way more time than I should have just standing there spinning the engine over, looking at it with a blank expression.
When the time comes, I'm planning on doing video of 1st start. The chainsaw vice will swing down to the side and hold the saw at a nice height to pull start it.

It will be worth it in the end.

That blank expression is my signature move... ;)

I got it running tonight, the video is loading. Nothing special yet. I don't want to run it in wood yet. The cylinder is one I buggered up trying to cut squish. I left the top ring off of the chicom piston because the cylinder is damaged in that area. Another cylinder should arrive in a few days. Then I'll cut base and squish and fit a good piston and rings. With those parts, I'll be willing to run the saw and see what it can do. Then Adam/Jonseredracket will do the port work. I'm really grateful to Adam for all his help. If it wasn't for Adam, this project would never have progressed so fast or as well.

I don't know how to embed. Here are some links. Check out my other videos if your looking to kill some time.
I faked an injury to get Adam to start it.
Just a mild piss rev.
We ran it a few more times and revved it a bit more. I didn't get anymore videos of it.
