This 254 was a orange label XP with a KS jugPhoto0597.jpg Photo0598.jpg that i went through . Caber ring (piston was good),full carb overhaul ,Fuel lines, top AV mounts , needle roller clutch race, other bits and pieces. It ran real fine after i bedded in the new ring…very strong for a totally standard one.

Thats Tygon fuel line Tor. I like it as it will hold a tight bend and not collapse ,malleable but very strong. I keep lots of sizes so i can make up new lines if original ones are a pain or monster money to get.

me think you have KS jug and HdA 87 carb.......
Flywheel side, cylinder base, you should see something like this, example:
01 91.
If so, it's one KS cylinder.
After a pull apart and doing my best to take some pics without fully pulling ALL! the top end apart ..I have the KS jug and HDA 87 combo !
best pics i could take due to confined view. 188/01 or A1 was on the same side as KS mark but was not easy to see properly without pulling the cylinder right off the piston. See what you make of the pics Tor.Photo0637.jpg Photo0638.jpg Photo0639.jpg
