Yes, I ran Dolkivarna 8-10 cuts. 4 with full comp chain, and 4 with full skip chain. I think I like the skip chain better.
You should have taken it for a spin... it's a hard pulling saw!
He had it at the Ny gtg
Yes, that is the one I built.
I think we did the right thing on Dolkivarna using a AM cylinder. With all the welding, cutting, and grinding... There were some points at which I was questioning whether the cylinder would remain true and whether it would all go together. I know how much time this thing took Shaun to use all the OE intake and muffler and get it all lined up... There is no question it really rips in the wood so who cares if it's AM or OEM. I'd rather not loose $200+ top end if it didn't work. This is probably where Shaun will say there is no way he would have ever let this project fail...Yup, I google him and found it. He used an OEM 56mm cylinder, I get flamed for using a china cylinder that's 2mm bigger. I figured go big or go home!

Its the one in my Avatar... 9010's don't have decomp buttons...Yes, that is the one I built.
Very nice ! Clean! This is a good thread; looking at artwork from the pros gives me something to work toward!
Here is a 288 I did last week for a play saw. It runs real good.

Very clean Jason!!
Great job fixing that exhaust flange Shaun. You are a talented cat.....
It didn't need fixing, but I wanted to make the outlet larger.
