Well, I don’t really know for sure, but I heard second hand that he is doing battle with cancer. That is pretty often nasty business. His huskies absolutely rip! I hope he can get healed up and make some more people happy in the woods...

an Einhell RBK 4645 with 45cc and 2,7hp

disassebled it (my first saw I disassembled), get infected by the chainsaw virus...

...repaired it and now it's my favourite saw for delimbing and small cuts

What ever happened to dozer dan

I heard he had quite a few health issues as well although I don't know the specifics.
Good friend of mine has a few saws he built and I know he previously swung by his house since it's only a few hrs from his place out east(he lives here in Michigan half the yr). He's a big fan of Dan's work.
This ones dirty, just hard to see it .

Found a problem the other day out dirtbiking, this was the trail ahead blocked by 2 downed trees and a few other old rotten bits.


Decided to work up a solution.


Yeah a top handle saw would ride better but this is the small saw I have at my disposal.



Problem solved, path goes around the right side now.
