Plus a good set of heated handles never hurts anything lol...I can not wait to compare the 064 to the 661

The violent powerband should be nice to get used to. The 661 is broad for sure.

The 064 will out cut the 661 in every situation but the 661 is more user friendly.
I don't like falling with a super fast saw.

Gets some guys into trouble every now and again around here being fast, I like how even with an 8 pin the 661 never really cares it just goes right through,

The 064 was not a huge fan of the 8 pin 28'" bar when I cut with it, of course running a 661 you ported did not help my evaluation haha

I would say my favorite saw is my first saw, the makita 6401. It's the one that got me started and will be forever loved. We have since welcomed the newer members of the family with wide open arms and try to show them the same love, but the first will always be the first.
