I have taken apart many 3 series saws that looked like that, they still ran just fine, just air injection doing it's job, appears it only took Stihl close to 30 yrs to join the air injection party, wonder where they got that idea from?

Yep I favor the 2 and 3 series saws myself and there red cousins, although last year I used my 2260 almost exclusively for my firewood needs and I have to say the AV and balance is superb on them

Nothing wrong with that Jeff, we like something different and that's ok, I respect the 0** series saws, I find them.close to the 2 series saws myself. Dealer support has swayed me.

I realize there are many good saws from each maker. Heck, I even got me a Dolly 6100. Dem are real nice too.
