I hope the end results will be positive. Looks like a bad deal. There are always two sides to a story. Pictures speak for them selves. Who ever done the work, SHOULD STEP UP AND MAKE THIS RIGHT.

Is it a 562xp?

Was the initial failure the fault of the builder?

I've got a 460 cylinder here that looks just like it but calling a porter out on a public forum isn't a good idea.

This is a business to me and the guy who done it I'm sure, all of us have had one get away but taking food from a man's table isn't the way to handle it,the owner and the builder need to settle it in private and if he won't make good maybe throw a little mud then. All of us have built saws that we wouldn't want taken apart and posted up. Do a hundred or more a year and you are gonna have trouble once in awhile.

I agree with this........

But at this point no names have been mentioned, and the conversation is civil.

No names have been mentioned. Sometimes it is ok to handle business in public. Most often not, but I think this could be one of those rare times.

What else is the guy supposed to do? You think the builder would make right on this? He hasn't the last 2 or 3 times now has he?

But yes, 99% of the time, handling it in private is the right think to do. But about that 1%...
