I've also run a couple Eric C built that were outstanding.
If I'm not mistaken, it was one of his that won the 390 build off in KY.

Not every saw can be the winner..

Buyer beware indeed, in all business. If a bad saw went to France, that is unfortunate, but if it is made right, then that is all that can be asked. I suspect if we look hard enough, we will find at least one dissatisfied customer for any builder on here.

No, I do not like the machining of the base. As for the "Ported Saw Warranty", his sounds as good as anyone's I have heard and better than most, I'd buy with confidence if the urge struck me.

Your expectations are low. What I would ask for is quality work the first time. The machine work on that base isn't quality. Fixing it the fact almost makes worse, because it proves quality work was within the builders capability.

Thick skin is someone who can take a punch/slam. Go your separate ways and drop it. So the solution to the OP has been started yet there is still a kindergarten verbal slap fest back and forth like someone stole their ef'in elmers glue...
