I did say ' may ' Kenny. That was Mark in NZ.
Scott made him up a jug. He's also a sharp guy that new how to get it right on his saw. It's rare to have TM just send one out or any other builder.
I think Sausage fingers did one for someone far away. I would but not taking work currently. Need more time to fix stuffs and build a shack for saws.I did say ' may ' Kenny.
Finding the porter is part of the adventure...
Those heavy beers go straight to my legs. Maybe something you should consider? As opposed to an ale? Or a lager?

You win. I remember now. There’s a guy here that beats you though. He’s even a porter.I'll JMS one up you with the 064/066 nightmare I fixed last year, it was sold with all this damage present and hacked with epoxy. I welded 5 different areas on the PTO side case half alone, bar stud area, upper spike mount, lower rear AV loop, hole into the oil tank and cracked bar pad supports. Then it took a few time serts or heli-coils on stuff I didn't want to ditch cut and weld. Mike powdered all the mag parts after I fixed them up and the owner is very happy to have a decent saw.

His JMS saw needed 17 timeserts IIRC. Didn’t run upon receipt. One of 4 cylinder bolts actually caught thread.

Pull cord warranty. How can someone put a screw bolt or nut together knowing it was soft? 17 on 1 saw??? Good got that's about all of them
Jerkoff warrantee!Pull cord warranty.
Start it once and it ends.
I'm far from a saw expert, but I do have mechanical abilities and pride in all my work. Rather it be in tree work, wrenching or construction. Bad karma to those who kill the trades.Jerkoff warrantee!
Apparently these people do exist. The proof is out there.
His stuff was so whacked-out be glad one never crossed your bench.
Plus it needs a clutch![]()

Are the other 2 corners scored also? Usually the edges of the skirt scoring like that are from revving or cutting before the saw was warmed up. The piston heated up and expanded before the cylinder didView attachment 293612 View attachment 293613 View attachment 293614 Any of you ever seen a broken cylinder fin? Turned out to be the source of the rattle on the 260 I’m rebuilding. Also, if the rings are friction welded, that would mean straight gas was ran through the saw, correct?

The only scoring I saw was in those two places. Looked at the cylinder and the scoring was in the same spots, but not the full length of the cylinder. Are the other 2 corners scored also?
