I have had to buy limited coils for every 350 i have worked on. I have a 345 with an unlimited coil that I might build up just like my 350. I even have a second piston/cylinder to use on it. I have been tempted to put the unlimited coil on my 372....

I don't like the stock muffler outlet location. I like a pipe in the top right corner that points out over the bar.
i like pipe outlets too. They look nice and direct the gasses away well. Why don't you like the stock outlet? Maybe it has a tendency to melt the brake handle? Might try and retain the spark screen on this one. Solely for the purpose of cutting on public land.

Got it back together and test fired it. Runs good. Very responsive. No shortage of compression. 😁 Muffler is still stock for the moment. Should have time to finish it up and get a vid soon.
Edit. Also advanced the ignition about 5*

Burned through about a tank today in the woodshed cutting and noodling...and just generally farting around. Its definately a completely different saw now. I'll get some cutting action soon.

Dropped a couple spruce with the 350. Have a few tanks through it now. Big improvement over stock....but I feel like there's more gains in it to be had. I doesn't help running it against the 361 clone.lol While taking the 350 clutch off I managed loose the clutch bearing....found it under my boot with a broken cage🙄...Waiting on a bearing.... Custom filter mod😂😂20230330_105107.jpggoing to open the muffler up some more and probably add a Zama el42(husky357) carb....and of coarse throw the Meteor piston in it.

Just finished up with doing a short block.

First to square and flatten the base.

IMG_20230326_220346511.jpg

Then get the machining done to the 346xp cylinder.

On to porting.

And what with all the extra joinery going on a pressure test to insure it's buttoned up tight before it goes. Which passed just fine with new bearings and seals.
