Got these 2 all cleaned up and ready for boxes.



56mm 066 cylinder welded and rough turned.


Get the holes moved and base trimmed to size. Should be close to get an idea of the squish.

Think a head is the only way to make this 660 jug work...

Need to drop .250" no way that will work without free porting like the pic...

661 piston will get me really close, but not sure how much more effort I want to throw at this bubble top...

Have you considered a 395 piston? They have a lot more skirt, but they are heavy. The 13mm pin fits into a Stihl 066 small rod end with a 395 bearing. I’m not sure if the OD of your pin bearing will allow for that.

Thought about it, bearing won't fit the rod for 13mm

661 piston would get me within .050 and shouldn't free port dropping it that much. Not really liking how much needs to come off the top, and not fitting the bolts as well.

I think I will send a 046bb jug out and have it bored and plated 56mm. I already know the casting can handle it. As the od of the iron sleeve is almost 59mm.
