It was tough Tim. Saturday was torrential rain and howling winds which limited us a bit, but Sunday dawned a lot better so off to the Cape Karikari islands we went. About 7nm in the slop. Got on them tho. Best fish of our group of 12 guys was nearly 32 inch and a touch over 19lb.

Good meat for the freezer. You could teach a few here how to eat. It ain't easy being cheesy.

The two I fished with are big fish specialists, but even in their presence I just picked up the same mid size fish I always do, even copying their m.o.

Some folks are just lucky, blessed or gifted.
I don't hunt, but I guess the same applies there.

Next week is an opportunity for them to win one at home. But man they really are the walking wounded right now. It seems like they just lost another half dozen defenders this weekend.

I like the guy hopefully not. I think what Detroit needs is.... a few wins. Wr Tate is a free agent he was like a spark plug for us . We could use a guy like that

He did right getting after them today. Feels like a coach Vrabel in TN except we need a QB or a Henry.

I think ownership knew what they were in for when they signed Holmes/Campbell they gave them 6 year deals for a reason. I believe they get a solid 3 years with a 4th “hot seat” year if necessary. For the first time in 50 years the Lions are acting like a real nfl team.
