What happens there? Does the app backfill from the bench in order by player or just sit back laughing at you?

This. Player status is updated constantly. I try to check in an hour or so before kickoff. And if I can't and a player is questionable I'll just swap him out or cross my fingers.

Ghey. The Rugby League app would replace that player with a benchie as long as they were all correct position.

I think that's a premium ($$) feature. I've never looked into it. While I enjoy being able to talk crap with y'all, I won't pay for the privilege.
