Maybe 100 is when the warranty runs out.if it is, the spark plugs in my truck should be shot.
Its a complete BS test, but in a extended time full throttle test in a four stroke motor I would expect an ashless oil to do better. Its funny how much residue all oil choices except for ultra have.....
Especially slide with sparkplugs....
Amsoil @1:100 has the same deposits as mineral HP or Echo blend @1:50
LoL.....
I only ever change spark plugs on new to me used saw purchases to NGK if there isn't one in them, then never worry about them again.i looked up spark plug in one of the chainsaw user manuals and it does say to change the plug every 100 hours or annually if in commercial use
Most people dont put enough hours on their saws to wear out a plug.I only ever change spark plugs on new to me used saw purchases to NGK if there isn't one in them, then never worry about them again.
Just saying.
i havent ever had to change a spark plug because it was used up in any saw or other handheld yard tools. i ran my 372xpw daily for many yearsI only ever change spark plugs on new to me used saw purchases to NGK if there isn't one in them, then never worry about them again.

No doubt.... Ultra smells like recycled sardines.all of them smell better than ultra.... lol
In 18 years of landscaping I had three sparkplugs that totally quit working and a couple that were very weak. I did replace all plugs every off-season because I didn't want a surprise. All of those bad or dead plugs came within the last ten years. Counterfeit?i havent ever had to change a spark plug because it was used up in any saw or other handheld yard tools. i ran my 372xpw daily for many years
Resistor plugs?plugs in general have gone to the birds in quality and reliability.. i have a 18.5hp vanguard in my golf cart and i cant make a whooe year without changing the plugs and i only buy ngk because they last the longest. champion are second. they dont stop completely buy they get crappy spark that is not solid bright blue. theh become dim and barely spark. its not the coils either because a new plug makes a good solid blue fire
I'd stop looking at them. If the engine starts and runs you are good.plugs in general have gone to the birds in quality and reliability.. i have a 18.5hp vanguard in my golf cart and i cant make a whooe year without changing the plugs and i only buy ngk because they last the longest. champion are second. they dont stop completely buy they get crappy spark that is not solid bright blue. theh become dim and barely spark. its not the coils either because a new plug makes a good solid blue fire
Exactly. I haven't fouled a plug in decades.I’m convinced that over 95% of name brand plugs that are replaced aren’t bad. But it is such an easy fix for the few times that they are bad that it’s not worth risking an old plug.
I think a lot of the problems with new plugs are counterfeits.
