Just had my 1st bladder scope since my cancer surgery. Looks good so far. Have another in 3 months.
FYI, I,m not saying this happens to anyone else
My friend who had the bladder problem a while ago , well he had the polyp removed ( it was cancerous but only on the end) and the follow up showed it to be ok, however the next follow up didn’t happen ( hospital error) over Xmas.

Anyway he started pissing red wee again. And his mrs called the hospital and asked etc.
so they got him in again and couldn’t see anything wrong in his bladder. But with the other symptoms he had they looked at his kidneys.
There was a shadow and they had a go at burning it by going up the tube from the bladder to the kidney 🙄🙈

That didn’t work so the next option was kidney removal (info, you can live on one kidney)

He had that done and is recovering (3wks.) anyway the end result is it was cancer but not the aggressive type. So he’s happy and relieved. Now He figuring out what he will and won’t be able to do because his job is quite physical at times ( he is a builder/plasterer etc),
he will have more follow ups at the hospital over the next yr. so I guess time will tell whether anything else happens

Btw. He is the same age as me [59]

I was at the dentist last week and had to update my records telling them I had bladder cancer and chemo. The lady told me her father had died from bladder cancer at 59.

I made chicken leek soup with carrots. Holy hell.....that is good stuff.
My wife and I planted about 150 leek seedlings this last weekend, we have them in our greenhouse so we can keep harvesting all winter, yeah, they are really good and add good flavor!

Can't say I've ever had a leek, had plenty of leaks though, I don't like those.

Yeah, like @Mastermind said, like a mild onion or a green onion with a little more pep and flavor. You have to wash them good between the layers, they can hold onto some dirt.
Its amazing how much dirt there is in the layers.

Morning / Evening All. Stretched the morning route a little to get a slightly different vantage point. Did about 2 3/4 miles this morning at a really good pace, feel really good about my progress after being so sporadic for much of the winter.
