Good Lord.
Right before your snicker comment lol. Just funny seeing the one sided convo you were having. At least on this end. Enjoy the rest of your day Randy! Cold and snowing here but the woodstove is warm and ribs are cooking!

I guess a certain one is still pissy?
Have you had a chance to run your 462 yet? My wife and I were at the local feed store last night and they actually had a 462 and 500i on display. I was surprised they stocked such high end saws.

They sure are light and feel good in the hands.

The 462 is a sweet running saw, I was lucky enough to run one for two weeks logging. Not really a good test but I got a good idea of what it was all about. I would definitely save the 150 and buy one over the 500i if I was in the market. Even if I wasn’t a stihl guy lol. Probably get me a heated handles one too. Really isn’t that much difference in performance anyway between them like people hype up... both run good.

I will definitely take what you said under consideration. In the mean time, here's a great quote from your fellow moderator:
---------------------------
"We need to respect that others are not like us, and don’t have the same opinions and feelings we do. With that I mean use the damn ignore button if a members’ words or opinions offend you that much. It seems everyone feel they need to comment on everything nowadays, and we’re all expected to respect that they’re offended. That’ll never happen. Ever.
There’s something called taking the high road, even if that only exists in your own head. Use that high road to ignore and leave, what you feel, is an offensive post alone.
Or report it if you feel there’s a need, but don’t expect much sympathy if all it is is a crybaby report.

Here’s a news flash for some: Nobody really cares about your feelings. An opinion is usually at least based on something tangible, and can be respected even if it differs from your own. A feeling is purely emotional, and we can’t expect anyone else to understand that.

FFS, none of us are special, or deserve special treatment.
Leave your feelings at home when going on the internet. That’s probably the best advice I can give."

I'm not sure what your point is. I'll echo Randy in saying I'm not sure what's eating at you, but your malcontent has worn all of patience of the whole mod staff thin. You've managed to irritate the least irritable member on this forum in Sondre. I hope you really do take what I said to heart and I hope whatever it is that's eating at you gets resolved. I ignored your jibe in the dyno thread, but since you saw fit it engage me directly here, I will say that if you keep on down this path of passive aggressively poking at the mod team and other members here you will be asked to leave permanently. I sincerely hope you can clean your act up and find a way to make your interactions here enjoyable for yourself and the other people you share this place with.

Only one thing eating at me: The fact that differing opinions aren't allowed if they go against the flow. I am who I am and I can't change that. I do try though. Like reaching out to the OP to ask if he had a chance to run his saw yet. I genuinely like his 462 which I've probably stated no less than a dozen times in this thread. No one has said more flattering things about his saw than I.

I have no doubt you guys are going to ban me. You don't tolerate different opinions. Even though I don't cuss and call people every name in the book like people do on here all the time. You guys not only tolerate this, you encourage it.

You know, I'm just a firewood cutter. Cut maybe 10 cord on a good year. I love being in mountains with my family and cutting wood is just part of the fun. I got bit by the chainsaw bug a few years ago and it's given me alot of enjoyment. This forum has given me alot of enjoyment also. But it is by no means as valuable to me as it would be to someone who makes their living with a saw. It's one of my hobbies.

I'm not looking to get banned but if you guys can't except me for who I am than you gotta make that decision.

Have a good rest of your day.

Hope you’re getting on well with that new saw . Got mine earlier in the week . Between working on other folks saws ,and the great weather , I haven’t had time to really run it . A6F4B254-D0EB-4D53-8567-D69CB4C7C12B.jpegC64134F4-0EDD-4F01-A6AF-D751050D640D.jpeg

I'd love to have one. I really like my 460 and I'd probably like that 462 better because of the weight. I've always resisted the auto tuned saws but someday I'll probably have one. I'm old fashioned and usually 10 years behind everyone else...Lol.

I have no dog in this fight but when will you learn to just shut your damn mouth when a mod has to reprimand you constantly. You have been up the creek with no paddle since you started posting things involving the new echo. No one wants to ban anyone but you just keep poking the bear. If you are not happy with the way things are done around here I’m sure you can find a different place to suit your wants.

now back to your regularly schedule thread.

Oh cool another one in PA.
This will be good year in the fall to compare some different 46x saws in different altered states.

I skipped the middle of this thread

Your post just proves my point. But I will always defend your right to free speech. I hope you'd do the same for others.

Nobody is asking you to change. You have been told several times that having a different opinion is fine but arguing about it with others who don't accept you opinion isn't. You have been confrontational and inflammatory. Go ahead and take a week off to think about it. Hopefully you will be able to find a way to express your opinion without picking an argument.
