This is crazy how this post went. All because I bought and weighed my new one vs the one I’m replacing lol. I’m shocked that any grown man could think I’m comparing a $1200 saw to a $400 and expecting a different result. I was just impressed the stihl is lighter with a lot more power. I called multiple dealers, priced all 3 major brands and thought about this for months before pulling the trigger. We all know what they cost, I knew what I wanted. All good here, I’m happy with the choice.

This saw only cost more because it’s one of the best on the market today. I think you normally get what you pay for. Unfortunately some of these guys are big time poolan fans. There’s a thread on the wild thing with a large following.
Considering they can be had for free from shop garbage cans, they have the best weight to cost ratio on the market. FYI.
Anyways enjoy the 462 happy cuttin.

I'm preparing for the next thread; which purse should I bring?

Sorry, don't want to step on any toes. I'll post in the 7310 build thread.

I've been on here since nearly the beginning and nothing much has changed. It's fine to have different view points but it isn't fine to be confrontational about it. Confrontation has followed you everywhere in your recent activity on here. You may want to look in the mirror and ask yourself if maybe it isn't ope but your delivery. We get that you like your 7310 that's cool it's a nice saw. I might end up with one myself. This thread wasn't even about the 7310 though. The op has noted your feelings and asked nicely for you to give it a rest. I will ask you nicely to desist as well.
I will definitely take what you said under consideration. In the mean time, here's a great quote from your fellow moderator:
---------------------------
"We need to respect that others are not like us, and don’t have the same opinions and feelings we do. With that I mean use the damn ignore button if a members’ words or opinions offend you that much. It seems everyone feel they need to comment on everything nowadays, and we’re all expected to respect that they’re offended. That’ll never happen. Ever.
There’s something called taking the high road, even if that only exists in your own head. Use that high road to ignore and leave, what you feel, is an offensive post alone.
Or report it if you feel there’s a need, but don’t expect much sympathy if all it is is a crybaby report.

Here’s a news flash for some: Nobody really cares about your feelings. An opinion is usually at least based on something tangible, and can be respected even if it differs from your own. A feeling is purely emotional, and we can’t expect anyone else to understand that.

FFS, none of us are special, or deserve special treatment.
Leave your feelings at home when going on the internet. That’s probably the best advice I can give."

A guy I used to frame houses for was known far and wide as a jerk. He wasted absolutely no time telling you what was on his mind. I built a great many homes for him.....and we parted on the best of terms when I became too sick to build any longer. We understood each other. I never once had to wonder what he had on his mind.....his openness in communication of refreshing to me. Probably because I'm the same way. We worked very well together because we respected the hell out of each other.

The message you received was straight to the point......and crystal clear. What's the problem? Reading comprehension?

If I sent you a private message, and you quoted it in public, I'd probably ban you. It is after all not only against the rules on every forum I've ever been on.....it's also just poor form. I'm not sure how you wound up being as twisted about all this as you have, but clearly you have a deep seated resentment festering inside yourself. I'd recommend that you take some time off of the forum. It is obviously making you suffer.....I know I'm not enjoying having to deal with it.

I guess a certain one is still pissy?

I'm not sure who or what you are alluding to. If you have something you want to say just spit it out.

The backbiting BS that goes on here these days makes me ashamed to be a founding member. If things don't soon get better I'll likely be finding some other place to visit.

The one I ignored. I have nothing to say, I just see your messages.
